There's plenty of newspaper articles from the old days making these claims, but as we all know journalists love to spin a yarn to sell papers. But even though fake news isn't a new thing it doesn't mean every story is fake. Snopes seems to be sitting on the fence with this one. It admits there are many articles from various sources but claims it can't verify them.
Now my theory is it probably happened, we know blacks were abused and killed back in the day so it seems reasonable to assume feeding kids to alligators occurred. I know of one incident at a uk zoo (Colwyn bay) where people fed animals from the petting area to crocodiles. So it's not a stretch of the imagination to think people could feed kids.

Absolutely hilarious. Where are the pick me women and sexist men who said feminism wasn’t needed anymore and women had all the rights and power they needed? 🤡🤡 this is what happens when you let up and don’t FINISH the job. If they can overturn this imagine how much other stuff will get overturned. Even if it was overturned it just means less sex for men, more abandoned kids and more illegal abortions I mean it doesn’t change much honestly. Just so weird to me how these pro life people only care until the baby is born then whatever else happens, happens. Abandoned, starved or even abused kids or not. It’s time for another feminism boom.

Yes, this was inspired by the numerous posts about Roe v Wade today, but this isn't specifically on whether or not you think abortion should be legal or not. This is strictly about whether men should even get a say about what a woman chooses to do with her own body when they are not the ones forced to give up their body's health to carry a child.

Men at one time even had a say on whether women could have their tubes tied, but despite rumors of spousal approval being needed for a vasectomy, it wasn't true the other way around.

And just in case one of you brings this up, no this doesn't count if she has a male primary health care provider.
