With so many problems, and still a new country, it was a legendary story on the earth.

Obviously, people are divided over political beliefs. That is normal. Same with religious beliefs. And some people think their religious beliefs make them a better person. Do you feel the same way about political beliefs?

In a trial where there is sufficient evidence to convict the person who caused the death of another, should the death penalty be available as a means of punishment?

Just to get people started: Trump didn't win the majority of votes in 2016 or 2024. Even the finest dust will fall down in a vacuum, there's literally nothing there for it to be suspended in. Masks do help reduce the spread of Covid. Social distancing does, too. Vaccines work. Preventing less than 100% of something bad is not the same as preventing 0%, it is often still worthwhile. The US has a higher rate of knife murders than the UK, and that's less than 30% of US murders. There is no crisis of crime in US cities, in fact the crime rates have been going down. Trump's administration brought a convicted murderer convicted for brutally killing three people back to the US and set him free (Spain might be allowed to request he be caught, extradited, tried and re-convicted for the crime he was spending 30 in prison for, but nobody knows where he is.)

I was reading this NPR article that reads: "They found that genes associated with African ancestry appear to affect certain brain cells in ways that could increase the risk of Alzheimer's disease and stroke. But genes associated with European ancestry seem to influence other brain cells in ways that could increase the risk of Parkinson's disease, a disorder that is less common in Black Americans."

Although this may be scientifically true, I find it sketchy because it suggests innate differences between the brains of the races. What do you think?

My mother and I had a conversation today, and we agreed most of the leftists were have came across in our lifetimes are self-centered. Many are entitled and just selfish.

I keep talking about the leftist tenant from hell my parents are trying to evict. She knows I am about to get married in addition to facing many challenges of my own as I try to reestablish my life. Instead, she causes undue burden and stress and drags out her eviction with no sense of urgency or humility. It is my parents' home and my parents are trying to protect me and my living situation (she rents the downstairs basement living space; I occupy the upstairs). My parents are ridding her because of her hostility.

Recent polls in the United States indicate that Conservatives overwhelmingly rate Capitalism positively over Socialism (74%-14%) while Liberals rate Socialism more positively than Capitalism by a smaller margin (66%-42%).

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-Louisiana) on Sunday backed off his claim that President Donald Trump was an FBI informant in the case of sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

While Trump has said that he kicked Epstein out of Mar-a-Lago, his members-only club in Florida, he has also recently called the latest demands for the release of more information on the Epstein case a “Democrat hoax that never ends.”

Last week, Johnson told reporters on Capitol Hill that Trump cares deeply about the crimes Epstein committed and he said that Trump “was an FBI informant to try to take this stuff down.”

On Sunday, his office released a statement modifying that claim.

“The Speaker is reiterating what the victims’ attorney said, which is that Donald Trump — who kicked Epstein out of Mar-a-Lago — was the only one more than a decade ago willing to help prosecutors expose Epstein for being a disgusting child predator,” the statement from Johnson’s office read.
