I realise some people will sctrach their heads if your 22 now then you would been 12 at the time of the games. I have had trouble with stalkers before after realising I'm older. So I made myself apper young.
I was living in america after moving over there in mid 2010. My school/college had a gymnastics team which i trailed for. The instuctor gave me passing grades and decided to put me on the team, over the coming months he would mention The Head of USA Gymnastics was looking for team members to represent USA for the 2012 Games. After a while I became dishearted. 2 months before the games My teacher pulled me aside and told me I had been picked.
The Openning Cermony is blur, The crowd was deafing, My team mate noticed my mum and dad in the crowd and I felt proud.
I didn't win any medals and only took part in one event but it was experince of a life team.
I was picked for Rio 2016 but During training I had accident and broke my ankle and told I was going to miss the games.
In 2017 I decided to retire from gymnastics after 7 years.
