Should there be exceptions in rules in intergender mma?

So I am asking this question not because I mean to say that girls should get an unfair advantage but considering the difference in male and female body, should women get an advantage in intergender mma fights?

I wrestled in Highschool and had to wrestle a lot of girls in practice and in actual competitive matches a lot and it already felt like the girls had one equalizing advantage tbh. So groin grabs and stuff are technically illegal but in wrestling I notice refs don’t call much on girls when they do stuff to guys so I’ve had girls literally just grab my balls and the ref did nothing. I am a lot stronger than most girls and even can pick a lot of them up and drop them to the mat but if she gets a grab or accurate shots there I do go down for awhile lol. Our gear doesn’t help so even if I’m stronger it’s 50/50. I have a muscular build and I was literally picking a girl up sideways to slam her down one time and She got a hit there right on target if the round didn’t end right when I got hit I would’ve lost. She had me down for almost a full minute 😂. Even most of my girl sparring partners try to grab them it’s really unfair and since I kinda am big there it’s an easy target 😂

Yes, I think guys should wear a cup and then low blows should be allowed and also girls should be allowed to hit them while they’re on their knees

@thehotshotgirl yeah I think for mma guys should wear cups in wrestling since there are no hard kicks or punches. Most hits are low impact so I think somewhat equalize in wrestling no cups and no underwear under the singlet so everything hangs down more like in those gifs making it an easier target and easier to see. In mma I agree there should be cups since the potential for injury is too high. Can’t you already hit downed opponents in MMA? Also have you wrestled before? What forms of martial arts and stuff do you know?

We're in an age of equality right? All fighters should be treated equal (except for weight. Featherwieght v superheavy weight wouldn't be much of a fight)

That depends on what kind of advantage we're talking about. I've ran matches before with friends who trained and I just played without protective gear. She was quick and it ended in maybe a 50/50 win ratio and a TKO with bruised testicles lol

But isn't that why the competetion exists itself to some extent... if you want 'equal' strengths fight 'equals'? But yeah maybe you could have some score/scoring advatage... but maybe not a/an handicap...

I wrestled in high school and beat people stronger than me and have loss to guys that were weaker than me does strength play that much more of a role in mma that weaker opponents would need an advantage?

If the girl has about the same size and strength, she could be training with a guy or compete. Why not?
