Will this stop my son from getting a soccer scholarship?

So my son is 15 and the soccer team, He scored the most goal shots for 2 seasons and there is a good chance he will get in collage for his soccer, But i got called in to school because they accused my son of beating up another boy, My son has a gay friend, He told me this guy was calling him a f*g and tried to fart on him in the face (no joke other students said that boy literally farted on my sons friend) and kept saying he would "knock his lgbtbarbecue @ss out" So that lead to my son beating the hell out of that boy, He only got 6 days in school because they recognized it as defending from a homophobic attack, Would this hurt his chances of getting a soccer scholarship?

I'd say if anything most woke, left schools would see it more as a plus than a negative. Few people got the ability to be empathetic like 90% of at least the US are too busy thinking bout themselves to give a braincell other than themselves. TDLR: I think your son will be fine.

I mean maybe , maybe not. These things happen. Any advice people give on here is just guess work. We don’t know there code of conduct , tolerance for those kinds of instances is etc. Only they can know for sure.

Personally I will say , I wouldn’t use this against him. If there was a series of events say fighting repeatedly , being verbally abusive then yes that is a bit of an issue. But the odd fight is pretty normal , it’s a party of growing up
