Knocked out by girl, embarrassing for a guy?

During our sport-club summer camp last week, we had the chance to train with a professional boxing- trainer. I (guy, 21 y. o.) sparred with Sonia (girl, also 21) and immidiately she cought me by my chin: I slamped limp to the ground, sent to dreamland by her for nearly half a minute. Now I am the guy, who was knocked out by a girl in less than 10 seconds. (The foto shows us just befor the sparring)

What sort of sparring under a professional hss anyone going for a K. O? That's incredibly amateurish and disrespectful and would probably get you banned from a club permanently unless you specifically set up a rule about it before - but who would do that in a Guy vs Girl fight?

Either all else is equal snd the guy wins or the girl has a significant advantage in which case you're deceiving someone at the cost of their health.

In any remotely serious setting this is embarrasing for the person causing the knock-out. But well, I've had the privilege to train with somr very talented women in martial arts and would absolutely feel no shame if they got the upper hand - if they realistically could not we wouldn't have a reason to compete and if they can why would it be embarrassing?

Only lasting ten seconds is definitely embarrassing. But losing consciousness after a concussive blow is a perfectly natural physiological response. Sex and gender have nothing to do with it. It’s not really even about strength. The chin is the most common target because it requires very little strength to spin or snap back the skull with a well placed blow. That will cause the brain to make contact with the inside of the skull which is essentially what causes the loss of consciousness. I had a friend whose 3 year old daughter nearly knocked him out with an accidental head butt. Knowing what you know now as a result of the experience, you should really work on your defense. Ell oh ell!
