Should there be female vs male MMA style fights?

Some years ago when Manny Pacquiao was asked if Ronda Rousey could beat Floyd Mayweather in an MMA fight, he answered “I believe so. She’s strong. Strong enough to beat Floyd Mayweather in MMA”. Around that same time UFC President Dana White also said “Ronda wins that fight and hurts him badly”.

While Ronda admitted herself that Floyd “would definitely beat me in a boxing match”, she also claimed that where MMA was concerned, “in a no-rules fight, I believe I can beat anyone on this planet”.

With this in mind, should female vs male ‘no rules’ MMA style fights, that forbids body/groin protection and allows strikes anywhere above or below the belt, be commonly practiced? If the competitors were matched up fairly balancing physical attributes against technical ability?

As someone who regularly spars and competes against both women and men under these rules at club level, I would love to watch such fights. What do you think? Thank you.
