Should female vs male MMA style fights be practiced?

Some years ago when Manny Pacquiao was asked if Ronda Rousey could beat Floyd Mayweather in an MMA fight, he answered “I believe so. She’s strong. Strong enough to beat Floyd Mayweather in MMA”. Around that same time UFC President Dana White also said “Ronda wins that fight and hurts him badly”.

While Ronda admitted herself that Floyd “would definitely beat me in a boxing match”, she also claimed that where MMA was concerned, “in a no-rules fight, I believe I can beat anyone on this planet”.

With this in mind, should female vs male ‘no rules’ MMA style fights (with no groin guards and strikes below the belt) be commonly practiced? If the competitors were matched up fairly balancing physical attributes against technical ability?

As someone who practices traditional Thai boxing and regularly spars and competes against both women and men under similar rules, I would love to watch such fights.
