I think that in general sparring and perhaps club level competitions, allowing full contact kicks to the groin (without a cup, obviously) would benefit the girl and make it a far more even fight, yes. I’ve practiced Thai boxing for many years and I know that allowing hits to the groin in mixed sparring and fights can be a great leveller! At the highest elite levels I think the pairings would have to be far more carefully selected, and the woman be a much higher rank, because the higher ranked guys could better block kicks to the groin and basically do a much better job of going crazy on the woman! So yes, in mixed fights kicks to the groin should be allowed, but rank and capability should also be considered the higher up the ranking standard you go.

You have the right to think what you want. I have also practiced martial arts for many years and there are different opinions on the matter. In Japan and in Thai boxing in some places and in MMA and Krav Maga it is allowed in some places. My question only concerns sports and is not related to anything else here.
