The Chargers moved to L. A. from San Diego. The rams moved to L. A. from St. Louis. So, now L. A. much like basketball (clippers moved from San Diego, and the Lakers moved from Minneapolis, San Diego never got a new team while Minneapolis got the expansion team "Timberwolves"), has two teams.

That's aside the point though. Recently, I guess the Los Angeles (formerly San Diego) Charger GIRLS (their cheer team) folded, citing financial problems. But the Rams cheer team, didn't. Second largest city in the country, having financial problems for only ONE of their teams? How is this logical

I grew up in Chicago. Chicago is home to the Bulls (who were on FIRE when I was a kid; Jordan's the best who ever played the game, and the rest of the team was awesome, too), as well as the Bears, the White Sox, the Cardinals (formerly) and... the Cubs.

Throughout my childhood (and most of my adulthood, too) the Cubs sucked. But their games almost always sold out. Even after the Sox won the World Series, the Cubs would STILL sell more tickets.

I gave up trying to understand sports fans LONG ago, and just switched over to rooting for the Generals. It's much easier.
