i voted charlotte because it was what came to mind before i even looked for the poll, but I know the minor league team in NC has had a lot of success and resisted an MLB during the last expansion.

Montreal is a great city and has fans, although i don't know if the fans are baseball crazy enough to support it.

Nashville is also great. a growing city with tons of tourism. however they do have 2 professional teams, and several colleges, and also a popular minor league club. *typically where major league clubs have AAA teams they don't want a major league club moving in*

Thinking of a new city. i'd say San Juan. American territory. Country loves baseball. No minor league teams. No need for passports. Pretty easy flight

i think nashville charlotte and portland all make sense; however with long established AAA teams in each city those major league clubs are going to balk big time at competition in the city OR having to relocated their triple-A squads. but those three cities do make sense, especially nashville and charlotte

And Nashville & Charlotte each have a MLS team as well.
