But it just seems like nobody wants to have a common/middle ground with these incidents. I’m not defending this guy but at the same time I all too often see feminists calling for draconian punishments for any man who crossed the line. Seems like they would only be satisfied if he had his entire reputation and life destroyed.

That one incident doesn’t make this guy a “predator”. But that doesn’t mean I think it was okay. No it wasn’t all. But men are sometimes going to say and/or do stupid things in the heat of the moment. That’s not an excuse. But there has to be a method to 1) make them own up to it 2) show forgiveness if they are truly remorseful for their actions.

I’m guessing he is paranoid and embarrassed as hell right now. Give him a chance to own up to it. If he refuses to do so or acts like it’s no big deal then railroad him. But give him a chance to come clean and apologize.

I don't think somebody of his position would be stupid enough to sexually assault a female in public. He probably thought by mistake that it was acceptable to her and did not give himself enough time to delay his reaction cause he wanted to celebrate the minute they won. I would view him as somebody who makes impulsive decisions and not as somebody who sexually assaults woman against their will. But still, if he believes this type of social behaviour is normal, he should be suspended cause he must have made many other females uncomfortable too at some point in the past, and maybe males as well.

He might of initially not acted like it was a big deal because he didn’t want to draw more attention to it (despite having some regrets)

I think this whole story is ridiculous. Nobody ever screeched in masculine football plays when the coach is lifting up his guys or kiss them with joy after a big winning.

I'm not a big fan of football (male and female included), but I think female football has been forcing itself into modern culture like it is a big thing, while it's not. It's not good to watch, the game is way weaker than the male is, you got what i'm saying, it's not a pleasant thing to watch, it's not interesting.

And I think now it's even less interesting because of this stupid scandal. Just like when I see female players complain for being less paid than guys and threaten to sue clubs and stuff.
