Can any Indians or Commwealth people explain to me what T20 Cricket is?

Apparently Long Island is hosting it right now, but I know India hosted the Cricket World Cup last year, so is it held every year or is T20 a special kind of Cricket tournament?

T20I is a shorter format of ODI (50 over match),
India hosted ODI World Cup in 2023,
Now West Indies (Carribbean countries) and USA hosting T20I (20 over match) World Cup.
Both are the World Cup but in separate format.
T20I World Cup happens in every 2 years, and ODI World Cup happens in every 4 year

Someone may need to correct me but T20 is just a shorter match. The regular Cricket World Cup is the One Day International format, which is 50 overs and the T20 is 20.
