What about hunting in the Olympics?

No, hear me out. You’re thinking animal cruelty right? Well what I propose doesn’t involve any animals except humans.

AI robot pigs or ducks and what have you are the targets. They are free to roam in a designated hunting ground and when shot with the signal of the event specific rifles, they record the number associated with that rifle and send the signal back to the officials letting them know, let’s say Australia has gotten one for example.

As for the contestants themselves, they could be flown or bussed out to the zone where they camp for 3 days and nights or something and find the targets during day light hours and then make camp at night. They would be provided rucksacks with supplies to keep them going for the 3 days.

I love shooting sports but that idea is a bit out there, especially for the Olympics.
Snowflakes would freak out.
Would it be considered safe to have multiple hunters in the field firing live ammo?
Plus, are there even such things as IA game animals?

I was thinking their guns would just register having hit the targets similar to how a light gun for an arcade game or something works.

But this was just my idea because of the snow flakes. Ideally I would actually prefer it would be live ammo and live game. They all just sign a waver that they may accidentally be shot.

The Winter Olympics already have something similar called the Biathlon. The event is a race that combines cross-country skiing and target shooting with a rifle.

Yeah I’ve seen that. One of my favourite events in all Olympics whether winter or summer. Such interesting characters in that event.

I like watching that event during the Winter Olympics also.
