I hate the pitch clock? One of the nicest things about baseball is that you never know how long the game is going to take. I've seen 9-inning games take an hour, and also some that take 4 hours. The only reason the pitch clock was created was to placate television. I also don't like the baseball rule where a runner starts on 2nd base in extra innings. Even Little League adopted that rule, and a simple mistake in extra innings determined the winner of the 2024 championship game... that shouldn't happen

As for the new NFL kickoff rule, what were these guys smoking? It's the dumbest thing ever. Why not just give each team a possession on the 2 yard line and see how high the score can go.

The situation with pitchers got ridiculous. They always pitched a full count and between adjusting their jock strap and keeping thr runner at first base they would take forever. Years ago the manager used to tell thr pitcher that after 3 pieces the ball should be in play. Now it takes forever

My neighbor is around 80 and he loves to talk about the NFL and MLB when he was young and the players "weren't such wimps." Talks about old QB's who were actually hit and pitchers who went every fourth game. I pretty much stopped watching pro sports, but the neighbor is entertaining.
