Dunk a basketball? Kick a field goal? Hit a baseball? Block a shot in hockey?

Dunk a basketball? Kick a field goal? Hit a baseball? Block a shot in hockey?
there's so many things I could think of... (just driving a F1 vehicle in the first place is high up there) but I will keep it limited to the sports I've tried before and even then, there is a lot
but I will go with block a penalty kick in soccer...
it takes a lot of skill for a goalie to be able to reach perhaps half the area, the rest might be impossible... but that won't do it, you also need to be a great "mind" and "room" reader... but that won't do it either, you also need to keep a lot of cool and chill to be able to manage that
and then it might be about luck... because strikers just have it 10 times easier to score, and they might be even more skilled than the goalie
Hit a baseball. If you can get a base hit 3 out of 10 times you''re a very succesful player. 4 of 10 makes you legendary. You also have to be mentally tough to deal with all that failure. Failing 7 of 10 times could be pretty demoralizing.
Never ending training is demanding for their body but psychological pressure of the ranking system breaks them often. Body regenerates, a painfull massage helps with tennis arm but psyche never stops to work and fears come when it's time to sleep.
I team sports it's easier because team takes a lot of the success pressure.
I think the most difficult would be muscle pain regardless of the sport and being able to gain back your energy fast. In biking the harder things for them is weather most dislike cold weather for example but the hardest is always how to gain back their energy fast
Each professional sport has its own challenges, making it tough to pinpoint the most difficult task. Hitting a baseball, for example, requires exceptional hand-eye coordination and split-second decision-making. Dunking a basketball demands both skill and athleticism. Achieving a field goal in football under pressure takes precision and composure. Blocking a shot in hockey combines speed, agility, and reflexes. Ultimately, the difficulty lies in mastering these skills contextually during high-stakes moments in professional sports. 🏀βΎοΈ🏈🏒

Baseball is pretty hard but for instance MMA is also super difficult. There's different kinds of difficulty.
For instance in gaming there's a game called Stacraft Broodwar it came out in 1998, it's been reworked but basically it's still the same game. People have been playing it for 27 years mostly in Korea but also some players in other countries and it's considered the most difficult competitive game ever. You can practice it your whole life and still not even come close to being good :P I didn't waste my time on it but I like to watch the best players sometimes.
I'd say right now Ohtani is the athlete that is doing the most difficult things but it can change over time :)
Some of the snow board moves are really difficult and can come with some intense crippling pain and damage.
Looks like wearing something ither than white at Wimbledon is a very hard thing to do.
they fought with Sharapova about a tiny orange stripe she had in her dress so instead of going back to all white she came out in orange shoes. They threatened to throw her out of the tournament so she came back in white shoes, and now orange shorts under her dress. They let her stay, then later they threw her out of tennis altogether for testing positive for heart medication, and she never got back in

Hit a major league pitch. Even the very best professional only succeed 3 out of 10 times. It's not just the speed but the combination of movement on the pitches. I have a friend whose son is actually being scouted by several major league clubs.
Every sport involves difficulties, stress and struggle, but I'm convinced, without being a professional myself, that the most difficult thing to deal with is the obligation to keep the performance level very high.
Take a direct punch to the face in a fight. Whether it's hockey, boxing or MMA. I won't add other sports because fighting is not necessarily part of the game or expected of them.
The fastest smash recorded during a badminton match was travelling at 309mph (just shy of 500kph), and the absolute record is over 350mph - so I'd say returning that would be pretty tough.
For comparison, the fastest tennis serve was 163mph, and the fastest baseball pitch was just 105mph.
i'm gonna be a nerd with this, and say dunking a basketball is the hardest. While the other things require a buttload of skill to do WELL, you could always get lucky once or twice and succeed at them. But to dunk, you gotta get the physical ability to jump high enough before you can even try your hand-eye coordination to put the ball through the hoop.
Being a icehockey goalkeeper looks extremely difficult to me. It seems dangerous aswell those pucks are rocksolid and heavy enough to do real damage. I know the keeper has protection but I wouldn't think about trying to catch that thing when it's coming at you with the speed of sound 🕳οΈ🙈
Blocking a shot in soccer... The goal is a lot bigger than you are, and trying to anticipate where the ball is going is often impossible !!!
Hit a baseball. Round bat, round ball, wooden bat, pitch is coming anywhere from 80 to 100mph. Then if you hit it there are still nine people in the field trying to get you out. There is a reason a.300 batting average is considered very good.
Get you and your team in to a zone everyone on the same page
The most difficult things to do is to stay accident free and to know when to let it go!
In my world put a golf ball where you actually want it to land.
some of the gay olympic events are difficult
They have gay events?
@zombiewoof you better believe it
@chrissykerdock interesting
Pole vaulting seems the toughest thing to attempt. I messed around with it in 7th grade. It takes a lot of coordination and upper strength to clear the bar.
I think scoring a goal in soccer is pretty hard
The most difficult thing is to be popular enough. The more people like you, more professional sports club will want you as their player.
I'm sure someone will come up with something harder, but my first thought is "Stop a penalty shot in the NHL."
Hit a baseball w/out a doubt. Dunking a ball is pretty easy, nearly 95% of all male college players can.
Probably slam dunk a basketball I donβt have trouble with the other stuff in sports

Baseball is the hardest. I don't understand how those players even see the ball
Hit a baseball itβs going 80-plus trying to hit ball with a bat.
Keeping a disciplined lifestyle to keep at the top of your sport
Possibly hole in one in golf.
