The pitcher already has an advantage over the batter. Best batters only hit a bit more than 300, which means they get out 70% of the time. More offense is good for the game. Pitching duels are fun, sometimes, but a 1-0 game is pretty boring, and I'm a long-time baseball fan.

I know everything about the game of baseball. These bats along with other things are destroying Americas Past Time. It is unfair, and Rob Manfred needs to be ousted as commissioner for he is doing a horrible job keeping the game of baseball sacred.

I agree Manfred sucks. The DH sucks, Pitch Clock sucks, Ghost Runner sucks, and 3 batter rule sucks. These style of bats have been approved since the 60s so they are old school. Yes, Science has finally allowed for the bats to become customized to the player allowing them to maybe hit.300 since that almost seems impossible now with batter striking out at almost double the rate of the 80s & 90s.

You will never sell me on torpedo bats. That is almost as bad as Barry Bonds, Mark Maguire and others taking steroids. That is exactly what it is equivalent to. It gives the hitter a unfair advantage over the pitcher. Yet, we check the pitcher's glove for foreign substances. Pitchers should be allowed to use these substances if batters are going to put them at a disadvantage by using torpedo bats.
