They barely ever even fight in pro hockey anymore. I'd be surprised if the Olympic refs didn't jump in to stop it immediately and they'd suspend them probably. So I would guess no but I guess they could try...
Any hockey match is one giant penalty box, Kostakis.
Ill take that as a YES
In Olympic ice hockey, fighting is strictly prohibited. The International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) governs the rules, and fighting results in penalties and possible suspensions. Unlike some professional leagues, such as the NHL, the Olympics prioritize fair play and sportsmanship, ensuring that hockey remains a disciplined and competitive sport. 🏒

It is absurd that this sport is in the Olympic Games.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Maybe a little. Not that you aren't a fan, but it's a big sport and to many people the only winter sports worth watching, so I don't see why it WOULDN'T be in the Olympics, but I'm not particularly fond of it. And I find it so weird that they allow fighting.
There's an ice ring in the next down that hosts small hockey games. If I had some buddies, we'd go and start "fighting" 🤣
They're not allowed under the IIHF rules.
I'm not surprised, considering how they ruined boxing
