I thought the show itself was great. The set was extensive and very depictive of Puerto Rican street life and other Caribbean island scenes. I didn't know a single song, but I've always loved Latin rhythms. Reminded me of when I was there and partying in the streets during native festivals. It also reminded me of 1999 when Gloria Estefan performed at the Super Bowl. I was just a kid, but I loved her music too.

I didn't have a favorite ad this year. Nothing jumped out as spectacular.

PS> The T. P. half time show with Kid Schlock was pre-recorded in Atlanta. There were about 100 people in attendance. He lip synced the entire show and reportedly the synchronization had issues. It's noteworthy that the maga crowd posted a bullshit rumor that the show sold out Atlanta's stadium in 3 hours. LOL

It's estimated that 125 million viewers in the USA watched the Super Bowl. It's also estimated that 6 million viewers, at most, switched to the Turning Point show. For those of you who are bad at math, that's 0.048% of viewers. That's less than 1 person per every 2,000 people. Really impressive, huh?

Yes, I did enjoy it very much. Maybe because my roots are from there, I thought it was very much as if Bad Bunny had brought Puerto Rico to the Super Bowl. The men playing cards and dominoes, the people out in the fields working, the "Marketta" (market) and buying drinks at a stand, were all reminiscent of PR. The music was good, I really enjoyed his salsa numbers. Most of all, the message he sent out, that love is greater than hate, and that all Latin countries are part of America, was very important. That includes countries that are not part of the US--but are still part of North and South America. There are many countries that speak Spanish.

I understand the orange buffoon was not happy. Well, that's his tough luck, isn't it? Ironically, he complained that the women dancing were not good for children. Firstly, the men were shorts under their skirts. Secondly you see more on the beach in the US. Funny for someone listed on the Epstein files and for what he did to young girls.

Saw some of both, underwhelmed by both. SB halftime wasn't great bc of the language barrier & just nit familiar with his music. TPUSA show was equally disappointing esp the lipsyncing was off putting.

As far as ads, Budweiser won with the clydesdale / eagle friendship ad. Also good was the StateFarm / BonJovi ad.

I actually enjoyed the halftime show a lot this year 😊 The production value, choreography, and energy were on point, and I always love seeing how they mix the hits together. As for ads, I’m a sucker for the funny ones with a clever twist at the end, especially when they play on sports or competition themes 🏈📺

I watched Kid Rock’s Half Time Show which had at least 5 million viewers on youtube, I don’t know about the other access sites. It was fun to watch. I think the best part was Kid Rock’s portion.

After that I didn’t go back to the game until the last bit. I saw that they had a large falloff of viewers at halftime who didn’t come back which surprised me that others did the same. I saw a chart that showed a spike in google searches for how to report someone to ICE during the Half Time.

First of all the guy is virtually talentless. He only got the job to make some kind of anti-American political statement because he hates Trump. Talk about a DEI hire.

Secondly his performance was a slap in the face to Americans. We are an English speaking country. That is an essential part of our culture and the Super Bowl is a major symbol of that culture. To start off by announcing he would be doing his entire show in Spanish and if people don't like it tough luck, they should learn Spanish, is both disrespectful and classless.

Then as a final insult to Americans there were subtitles *** IN Spanish *** not even in English. The vast majority of Americans watching had no idea what was being said and it is just as well they didn't because some of it was just downright disgusting.

The show itself was just boring and tasteless as you would expect from this guy and his handlers.

I got bored of Spanish rap in less than ten seconds. Coincidental i support trump so you all are like "such a racist excluding foreigners " but that is all false propaganda we don't mind the rare immigrants who RESPECT immigration laws! Who don't try to change America to fit THEM like a certain religion or adding Spanish at schools. I don't exclude foreign music i listen to some , akb' japan black pink Korea even Russian +but crowning Spanish singer is precisely the problem of "erase identity" which is why pushing back with a program of all-American songs is important.

scanned it. I like the first part bringing a new culture, that's creative. It was well performed.

But cannot understand the amigos other than the amigos... lady gugu. I never liked seeing crotch grabbing and guy/girl mating communications in acts... including Michael Jackson.

So, meh, glad I did't pay $5000 for the show or a dime watching it other than youtube.

My favorite add was the one about eat fresh fruits and vegetables. Eat Sweet Potatos rather than bread and dont' eat junk from vending machines.

I watched the first few minutes of the halftime show, wasn't impressed, and then took my dog out for a nice walk.

Most of the ads were unimpressive. Budweiser had the best with its tiny bird ad that the Clydesdale befriended and eventually soared as an eagle.

It was fantastic. Music does not have to be in English to enjoy it. Bad Bunny is not for the old guys so they can piss off. They do not get it. He is not the #1 artist now for nothing and he is American in case the old people do not know it. LOL
