Yes, I took to the water long before I could even walk properly and I felt like I was free and I loved it. Not an ounce of fear in me. My parents had trouble getting me out of the water.

Nope, not really. I remember when my parents acknowledged that I knew how to swim. I use to get in the pool all the time as a kid, but at 4 years old since I could not stand on the floor of a pool with a deep end that was 10 feet deep I use to spider around the outside of the pool and hang on to the edge with my hands with my feet on the wall and then dash across the pool swimming from side to side. My parents kept telling me you need to let go of the wall and learn how to swim. I kept telling them what are you talking about, I know how to swim you're crazy. They said no you don't, and I said yeah I do you people are crazy. They just wouldn't accept the fact that I knew how to swim. So they said if you show me you can swim across the entire pool without touching the walls I will take you to Toy's R Us and you can get whatever toy you want. I was like, OK easy work suckers and swam across the pool and collected my pay day and then went back to spidering around the pool. Haha. I don't know what was wrong with them. They were like Democrats today, you just keep telling them the truth and they just would not listen to facts.

I was swimming on my own like a year or year and a half before that no problem. No swim lessons, nobody taught me, nobody had toss me into a river or anything tramatic... There was just a pool in the back yard so I learned on my own. I had an older brother 3 year ahead of me so I probably just picked up on what he was doing by observation when I was 2 1/2 to 3 years old and did it because me and my brother were always competitive and adventurous. I was 3 years old when I drove the family van down a hill on accident after I popped it out of gear. What is swimming when you use the family van like a box car racer. No fear.

I remember that to. My older brother was like what does that one do... and that one... and that one... I was trying out the different buttons and levers. He had his superman t-shirt on. Then we started rolling down the hill and he's like holy shit we're going! :D

One day I randomly kind of figured out how to swim in the sports periods of our school (the sport I chose was swimming). And my swimming teacher was hella proud and let me stay in water for 30 more mins, got scolded by the math teacher who's class I skipped by the 30 min delay but it was worth it.
