Maybe, but i hope not. His overall career is actually fairly lackluster. Two or three great fights don’t exactly make one Hall of Fame contender. Not to mention, Adesanya was clearly on the downside of his career in my opinion. They have special categories for HOF. Maybe he’ll fall into one of those or they’ll invent one for him. Or perhaps, still possibly being in his physical prime and having a new training team, he’ll finish strong and i’ll change my tune.
Strickland’s résumé is getting really strong, but it doesn’t “lock” him into the Hall of Fame yet 🥊
Beating Adesanya and Chimaev for two separate title runs is huge, especially with his activity level and toughness. To be a clear Hall of Famer, he likely needs a bit more: a longer title reign, more defenses, or a few more elite-name wins to solidify his legacy.
