Where do you rank Demetrious Johnson on your all-time greatest MMA (mixed martial arts) fighters list?

Personally, I don't think he gets the recognition he deserves for his skill level and resume. I have him at 4 below Georges StPierre, Jon Jones, and Anderson Silva. Where do you have him?

For some reason, it fell under society & politics though I remembered putting it as "Sports", no idea why it did that. Is there any way to change that after it was submitted?

Thai boxing... I lived in Thailand some years ago and everywhere one went there were fights. Different style in that it was quicker and lot more kicks but brutal too. It's interesting comparing yesteryear to modern day is what I am trying to say.

Yes, Muay Thai is a very interesting martial art, and the culture around it is as well. Many guys who even compete in MMA now still go to Thailand for the gyms to learn its striking style (though needed to be adapted to MMA since it's easy to land takedowns). Definitely has produced some killers like Rodtang, Saenchai, and Buakaw. (Rodtang actually fought Demetrious Johnson in a mixed-rules MMA/Muay Thai bout earlier this year).

I’ll accept any reasonable argument for GOAT. He absolutely belongs in that conversation. I’d actually put him well above Jonny “The Juicer” Jones though. Cheaters don’t belong in that conversation, in my opinion. Let alone two-time cheaters whose performance markedly declined immediately after getting popped.

Do you also disqualify Anderson Silva from being above him too because of the positive steroid test toward the end of his career?

I don’t. Silva got popped after the leg break. Steroid treatments are common for athletes suffering from a major injury like that. He definitely should have withdrawn from competition testing; like McGregor has done. But i feel like he was just stoopid, not cheating. Could be wrong though. Several of his opponents, including his fights at light heavyweight, remarked that he was “surprisingly strong”. He might have been juicing his whole career.

That's fair. He definitely has the title wins and finishes but outside of his Cejudo + Benevidez wins he just hasn't beaten anyone noteworthy. Not his fault because flyweight back then wasn't as talented as it is now (imagine him against a guy like Figuerdo, Moreno, Mokaev, Ulanbekov, Kara-France, Pantoja etc.) but still an argument problem. Same reason I don't have Fedor in top-5. Jose Aldo DOES have the resume and title wins tho, so maybe Jose Aldo is above him.
