Honestly I wasn't surprised when they got eliminated in the Brazil vs Norway match. They aren't the same team from 2002 and haven't been for the longest. Secondly, there is higher competition too. The Belgium team are even better by now.

Is the Brazilian team overrated? Plus I never liked Neymar. He sounds arrogant and is a crybaby every time he loses.

Brazil has a huge history in the game, winning several World Cups in past years. That was back when there were maybe 5 or 6 countries that were capable of winning the World Cup.

In today's soccer world, there are many countries that would win the World Cup.

Brazil is still a top-10 country in soccer, but trying to uphold it's past glorious history is difficult, if not impossible.

It couldn't beat Croatia on the last (2022) World Cup and got eliminated on the penalty shootouts. I think they need to work harder when they play with a European soccer team.

They’re no longer the 2002 dream team and global competition has improved a lot: Belgium, France, Argentina, England, even Croatia raised the bar. Brazil still produces elite talent and is always a contender, just not miles above everyone.

As for Neymar, brilliant talent, divisive personality. His theatrics and attitude turn many people off, even if his stats are insane.
