LOL, Steven Seagull? Really? That nutcase nitwit was debunked 50 years ago. He's an ass clown and a fraud. Not to mention a blimp.
Erik Paulson, th eformer MMA champion who also trained Brock Lesnar (former UFC heavyweight champion) and Ken Shamrock, he disagrees with you. He stated in interview that "Steven Seagal is the real deal and his techniques are absolutely excellent for self-defense (and real combat).
Here: 4 minutes mark. You know nothing about real martial arts.

All I know is, I wouldn't call him a sissy to his face. LOL
I guess with his movie career long over with he has to do something to make a buck.
He used to train the Kenner police in Louisiana for probably about 10 years of his career, but for some reason people started spreading BS rumors about him for no real proof, so he got sick of constantly having to defend himself from liars here in the USA, so he left. Anyway, multiple police departments in Louisiana consulted with him for ju jitsu training to help officers apprehend violent criminals.
Following is a video by a 10th Degree Black Belt retired police officer explaining how Joint Locks really work.

I don’t think he's in any condition to fight like that anymore
I can drop a heavyweight using a 1-finger front choke with a fraction of the force you'd think would be necessary. If I use both hands, one behind the neck or back and the other finger int he throat, it's possible to cause permanent damage to the trachea and leave the opponent hospitalized... and that's just one finger.
You don't see this technique in MMA because all front choke variants are banned in MMA for "safety reasons" because they are lethal to near-lethal instantaneously.
You don't see neck cranks and karate chops to the neck, because that is BANNED because it is known to be lethal to near-lethal. Modern Light to heavyweight karate fighters can break up to 30 pine planks stacked in one chop. What do you think they can do to your neck or throat?
Steven Seagal is like a 100 years. Old. And like 300 lbs. Now.

Steven Seagal is legit in Aikido, but a lot of what he shows is highly stylized and compliant. For real self-defense or MMA-style takedown defense, you need pressure-tested skills from wrestling, BJJ, judo, or sambo, drilled against resisting opponents.
One magical “single technique” to stop all takedowns is unrealistic. Solid stance, underhooks, sprawls, and clinch work are what actually hold up. 💪🏻🥋
No, they don't. "What he is teaching is what real warriors used on the battlefield. You do NOT want to be at "clinch range" in a real life or death fight, because you will get your eyes gouged out and your neck broken by someone who actually knows what they are doing.
The point of this video was that BJJ does NOT work against someone like Seagal nor will it work against me or any of my Sensei's best students. I've already won the fight when you go for the takedown, because I'm going to break your neck or rip your eyes out.
For the record, the Bot is retarded. "JUDO" is "sport-friendly watered down skills from Japanese Ju Jitsu".
Japanese Ju Jitsu is the real samurai fighting skills which were used in hand to hand combat for CENTURIES.
BJJ is for cage matches with 30 rules and 100 banned techniques.
If you're dumb enough to try double underhooks against someone like me, I'm going to two thumb gouge both of your eyeballs out and I'm literally going to break both orbital bones of your eye sockets, BEFORE I choke you out with a front choke... and I can do all that in about 2 seconds flat.
These techniques HAVE been "pressure tested" for hundreds of years in real warfare and real self-defense fights.
The bot is just quoting some noob BJ:J black belt who is dumb enough to actually think double underhooks is somehow a good idea in a real no rules fight. It's actually about the DUMBEST move you can try against a real JJJ black belt... and keep in mind I failed my black belt test every month for six months.
