I think it's a social status symbol. So many places have cute accessories for Iphones. I have a samsung phone and it's hard to find cute cases :(
Not a status symbol if everyone around you has it. It just works better with my mac. My mac was a bitch to my Samsung when I had it. File transfer never worked.

Apple products are convenient to use and it scores you bragging rights.
Apple products are leading when it comes to art, and creativity/multi-media work, like their tablets and what not. and Windows products are the opposite.
Apple packages really well and develops a loyal customer following by offering solutions and top-notch customer service.
Other companies would do well to emulate their processes.
Yeah, Apple is a leading brand because its customers have zero clues what they want, being the bunch of tech-illiterates they are.
1. Userbinding through itunes.
2. Real good PR.
3. Questionable and possibly illegal business methods

It's easier to use and better touch screen than its competitors, more things are compatible to it like Bose products seem to be more geared towards iPhones I've noticed and certain apps. Apple products are also less likely to get a virus
I love my android device, though Apple making their software and hardware cannot be ignored.

@Williamdhie You can't, it beens years I have only apple and I never get a single one virus, everyone in my family who have apple never get a virus.
When I had windows it was horrible how many virus I had.

I didn't get viruses either using Windows computers without active antivirus. I know they exist though.
@cavmanier When I had windows, I got virus and I even got my computer hacked 2 - 3 times so windows is finish for me.
