Deadly women is a tv show primarily on Investigation Discovery, I mostly watch it on YouTube. This show is about you guessed, women who have killed. It's hosted by Candice Delong who is an FBI profiler. The show is very factual but the crimes are recreated in a dramatized fashion. I picked out episodes you can watch for free YouTube. I might start paying for my youtube subscription again to watch more episodes.

Elizabeth Bathory and Delphine LaLaurie are featured in this episode. I've actually seen Delphine LaLaurie's house just from the outside. It's creepy.

This show is good for the fact that it shows women are just as evil as some men.
But I notice that it kind of excuses females actions in a sense by suggesting women kill for “complex” reasons as if men don’t.

You should totally watch it. A lot of the women in these episodes are on death row. Darlie Routier or Ma Duncan for example. I think you have to pay for those episodes. The show is hosted by a woman who is quite blunt in saying that there are women who kill for simple reasons.

I've always found it fascinating. I like examining the psychology behind these people. When I was little, I wanted to be a medical examiner.

I watch it sometimes and it certainly gives me a perspective of the human female mind and its capabilities. On the other hand, I find it ironic that most plots on a Lifetime Movie e. g. will feature a victim woman and her SO male against an evil white male killer and that she saves the weak SO male and kills the evil white male killer twice. This plot is common. So, it takes fictional movie plots to portray the evil white male killer in most cases while it takes the factual events of Deadly Women to demonstrate evil killer women. Amazing how the media turns this upside down.. don’t ya think?
