I think Social Media helps people who are either, bored, sad/depressed, mentally ill, cowards (or bullies-which is the same thing), and hateful people a platform for to be miserable and pathetic, and to try and bring people down to there level. That's it. I ignore these chums because they have nothing better to do then waste time online, rather then get out and work

Social media companies intentionally sew political and personal dissent anymore. It's not that there are too many angry people on social media. It's that social media is now designed to make people angry. It's paradoxical. A medium designed to bring people together is now being used to disrupt social cohesion.

I haven't use social media for a long time.. But last time I checked, people I follow mostly post about their achievements, accomplished goals, happiness. Which is great... Maybe it depends on your social circle?

Especially the first three. Pessimistic people aren't all bad. Maybe it's because I've a pessirealistic mind set, but to my opinion people that are way too optimistic are worse.
