The internet has always had people speak harshly to one another. But now, people are super aggressive and even threaten others with violence.

Twitter (I think it's X now), 4chan, even YouTube.

Like I responded on a previous question of yours you asked if there was a problem with "greed" today. And I told you I think we have a shortage of "love" in this world. I think pushes most of that. I think some people who feel unloved and ignored unfortunately use that as an excuse to spread as much pain and discontent as they can. Either out or anger or just trying to get attentiontion. And it wouldn't fix it to just gives these people hugs because slot of them lack basic social skills. In short they are largely the cause of thier discontent, but you'd ne er convince them of this.

If you got a solution to this I'm all ears. Because I don't think the world is going to become a nicer place anytime soon.

Oh, it's been going on for a while. And we aren't meant to be a species that is angry all the time, just as we aren't meant to be happy or sad all the time. And I think all that excess anger has caused actual brain damage to people and they will never be able to recover from it.

Basically it's free reign online. Sure there are supposedly rules, but cops aren't going to show up at a door when someone says something pretty disgusting.

Agreed. I had a very grown woman get attitudeish with me over something ridiculous. I think people are starting to get more and more consumed into the idea of likes as dopamine that they are willing to push aggression towards others for the sake of a few likes

I noticed it too. And people want an internet where everyone agrees or get blocked or bullied. It's so bad that it's affecting those people's everyday life even. Like people take a break and calm down, the guy probably on the other side of the world didn't steal your cow or your sister what's pissing you off😬
