Mgtow or Men Going Their Own Way, is a loosely defined movement part of the broader manosphere that consists mainly of men who remove themselves from the daiting market in protest for what the belive to be unfair conditions especially concerning divorce and attraction. They can take various forms some choosing to only date cassually, others only hookups and some go full monk.
The movement is mostly men pretending to be all about self improvement and not needing women but often degenerates into women haiting. They often cite qsuedo science concerning how divorce unfairly effects men (which is not really as bad as they make it seem but still kinda bad), on how 50% of marriages fail (which is wrong it is 39% and dropping), and how only the top 20% of men are considered above average by women according to an ok cupid study (which doesn't actually support their point and was bad to begin with) and the new thing is how some weird study suggests that after 3 sexuall partners women's partner bonding ability (but not men's) is ruined and they are worthless (this is just bullshit). They also talk about hypergamy which is that women are never satisfied and always want better and thus treat average dudes like trash (again factually incorrect).
The movment used to just focus on making vunerable teenage guys and bitter divorcees buy their bs and hate women while pretending be a self help group but they seem to have become somewhat more popular.
