Would you find it creepy if someone added you on social media without you giving it to them?

I’m trying to date outside my usually type so I decided to go on a date with this guy that I met. He’s from Bangladesh, he’s an accountant, he makes great money and has a good head on his shoulders. He’s a little awkward and honestly really aggravating through text. Before we went on a date he kept asking me for my social media so I gave him one of my Instagram accounts that has like no pictures on it. After the date ( I found out he added me on my other Instagram account that I keep private and my Snapchat.) I didn’t give him these accounts for a reason.

I think you need to be honest with him. Don’t be rude about so long as he’s respectful. You just need to explain that you don’t give those accounts out to people until you get to know them better. I don’t think it’s creepy that someone was able to find your page. You’re the one who put it up and it’s public.

But, if you feel personally creeped out by someone at a gut level. Then maybe go with your gut. Tell him that you don’t feel like the two of you are meant to be. Give him closure so that he can move on as well and maybe find someone whose right for him.

I think you need to be honest. If you aren’t sure what you want to do. Then tell him that. But if you feel like you have lost attraction. Then just tell him that it isn’t meant to be. So you both can move on and find someone whose right for you both.

not creepy, i was happy to have followers and assumed they saw my pictures.

i stopped using all social media websites, and less frustration since then. try it! if less stress, you gained.
