If your partner had disclosed to you that they watched dating coach videos while in the dating period with you how would you feel about that?

I dont profess to have all the answers when it comes to dating so yeah sometimes ill consult dating gurus on youtube and such to either learn something new or to get an idea on if i did or said the right thing or not.

But i wonder if somehow a potential future partner were to learn i watched such videos during the dating stage... would it be a big deal? or what?

How would you feel about that?

here's an example of one one i used to watch a couple years ago.

Some coaches are better than others of course. and there's a lot of fakes out there that just want your money, but a couple i do like and feel like i have gained some useful tips from.

It's not a big deal to me. no effect or feelings about it

It would leave a bad taste, i would think they weren't truly being authentic by having to watch that stuff

I would actually like that. it means that they were truly that serious about wanting me.

It just depends on the situation and what sort of dating coaches they are. It just gives fatherless vibes, tbh. But if I had dated a fatherless guy, and he was watching respectable men give advice on how to act and achieve good goals, then I suppose that wouldn't make me feel negatively towards it.

I would hope they did. I watched the same guy you did and I thought he had really good advice and because of that, I had no trouble dating. I think it's important to learn from past relationships and whether that's from dating coaches or therapy, it's points you in the right direction.
