I'm not big on Microsoft anymore, don't get me wrong it's a great company but when it comes to phones, tablets and computers i'm an Apple guy. When it comes to TV's, speakers, consoles, blu-ray players and other stuff I'm a Sony guy. I bought the PS1 back in 1997 and it was arguably one of the most exciting moments as a kid growing up. But I'm not going to lie I don't have time to play strategic games that take forever, right now I'm about 50% done Marvel's Avengers, it's a good game but even when I buy the PS5, I prefer quick games like WWE games or NBA 2K. I will buy a Marvel or DC game if it's good since I am a fan of both franchises. But with grad school and one day getting married I won't have as much time as I did. I will buy the PS5 but I'm going to wait until Spring or summer 2021. If economic times get rougher ahead they may drop the price, plus I made the mistake buying a PS4 right when it came out and I had issues with the console. It's best to wait because that first or second month batch of consoles could have some defects. Make sure you get an extended warranty.

I'm getting the ps5 for Gran turismo and other exclusives. Already have a gaming PC so getting an Xbox makes no sense, you can play all Xbox games on PC.

XBOX series X , a more powerful machine with beautiful games like FORZA , and Microsoft Flight Simulator , and also other common games like PUBG , mincecraft , COD etc , and i also really like the controller more , its comfortable

and we can also get a game pass by which we can play any game just by paying the price of around 20-25 usd per month

ps5 because of its shape and size it can break its edges easily and it ll be difficult to put in small places , but the xbox is perfect ! the squarish shape makes it soo easy to place it in small places

@EyesOfGod nope we cannot play microsoft flight sim 2020 or games like forza horizon on ps5 , and talking about PCs , a good pc will be way more expensive than a console , so if you're ready to pay more money for the same specs u get on an XBOX (which is just around 500-600 usd range compared to 5000 usd for a good PC) sure go ahead

and yeah we can play the same games we play on xbox in pc too , which is why microsoft introduced game pass , meaning , you pay 25 dollars a month and you get to play around 100 top games instead of payinf 60-100 usd for each game... just 25 usd a month , i would choose this anyday over the playstation series

I know my boyfriend plans on getting the Xbox Series X. I plan on getting a ps4, not 5. Don't see the point if a most games will work on both the ps4 and ps5 (that's at least what I've been noticing anyway). Besides, I'm saving up for when the new switch comes out in a few years!

I'd rather get the Series S, honestly. I just don't need 4k resolution. I'm a film guy, so I really know my graphics shit, but all of this boils down to personal opinion. For practical purposes, the quality of image you're looking at just isn't improving enough from 1080p to 4k justify the difference in cost. With downscaling being what it is, I would rather have games be programed in 4-5k, then downscaled to standard high def; because that looks so much better than presenting a 4k video game in its native 4k.

I dont understand why you would get the new generation if the old one will continue to play the exact same new games. All older generations came with new exclusive games that forced you to move generations, mainly because of the huge step up in power from generation to generation. I'm not a fan of this step 1.5 thing they're doing. Until my xbox one doesn't play the newest games, I'll be sticking with it.

Absolutely embarrassing how poor that once-great franchise has become. EA Sports’ exclusivity deal with the NFL is finally up I think, or soon at least, so hopefully 2K Sports will give us something as great as ESPN NFL Football 2K5 was with modern graphics, or Madden will stop coasting and stealing everybody’s money for what basically amounts to a roster update. Around 2011 I just quit on Madden. How do make your game progressively worse each year?🤦‍♂️ So until I have confirmation that there are football games better than what was offered a decade and a half ago, I’m not even bothering with new consoles. I have PS2 and XBox 360, and that handles everything I need.

Nope. My PC is embarrassingly terrible so I’ll upgrade that first in a few years time. Right now the cpu was a budget choice in 2012 and the video card was a budget choice in 2014.

Perfectly happy with an Xbox One. I don't make enough use of it to be upgrading but when/if I do, I would once again go with Xbox as their GamePass is good value for money.
