I accidentally looked up something inappropriate on my school computer, at my home wifi. Can they see this if I deleted the history?

Tell the Truth to your parents and School. If you do you won't likely return. Porn is a destructive thing bad for the mind and body. Only the truth can free you before it becomes an addiction. But then I might end up getting in trouble, and that would ruin my future. I haven't looked anything bad up since then, and if they dont find out that would be awesome. I would rather wait, and if they find out I talk about it. but if not then i would be fine. You know?

The secret will get you into trouble. If you hide it you will feel guilty. Admitting the truth will help you. It is a common thing for meant to struggle, but if you resist now you'll be able to resist later. It takes the truth to be free.

That would be illegal. So if they did they wouldn't be able to do anything without getting in serious problems themselves. Besides just because it is inappropriate, doesn't mean it illegal. So they would have no grounds to act on.

The student handbook does say that that is against the rules though.

Yes but monitoring their students use of the computer outside of school network would be a privacy issue in most countries that goes way beyond breaking code of conduct.

Yeah. I am worried that when the computer goes into the school at the end of the year (I am remote learning) then it will sync with the system and pop up on the tech guys computer. (No, this is not on that computer, lol)

The techguy will just check condition of the machine and then simply run a clean and restore script on it so it's ready for the next student. He has no interest in finding out what the computer has been up to. He has thousands of computers to handle, so your machine will drown in that pile. So whatever was left of your computer will be gone when his script has done its work.

I used microsoft edge (Not the main browser we use, lol) and then deleted the history. I would think that they wouldn't check bing. Is there a way "Microsoft Yoga Computer" that they can see the WHOLE computer history? Or would they have to GO to bing to see my deleted history? (Not sure if you know this, I have just been STRESSED the last week or two, lol)
