What’s your opinion on people who got iPhones?

I have an iPhone. I resisted for years, even resisted iPod. I always had my own personal music collection on an MP3 player, because I hate iTunes.

But now, streaming. And I had a girlfriend who gave me her old iPhone as work kept buying her new ones to replace the old model, so it didn't cost me anything. Then I realized how simple it was and why people have them. Now I have everything iPad, MacBook, iPhone. It's so easy for school and just everything else, to send documents, photos, whatever. To have all passwords saved across devices, it's just very convenient.

Of course, I haven't tried Galaxy and associated devices, so maybe it's the same, or even better. But I'm happy with what I have and it didn't cost me much as the phone was free and the other devices were discounted.

Last I heard, the demographic of IPhone users was more towards the affluent end of the spectrum when compared to the more diverse Android demographic.
iPhone users anecdotally regards their ownership as aspirational and fashionable.
Personally, I have mixed feelings about Apple as a company, dislike the 'cool' imagery and dismiss their products as a result as fashionable, over expensive toys.
While at the same time accepting they have created very strong branding, an easy to use interface, and have done a lot to define what a phone now is.

Both Android and iOS have their own positives and negatives, but in general I think Android is better if you know what you're doing.

I personally use a rooted android phone, which is a S5... and I probably have better privacy and security than most android users because i use system-level firewall, filtering, and permission control apps.

On the flip side, iOS has some really nice apps I wish I could have on Android... like Affinity Designer. I'm not a graphics designer (i'm a nurse) but it seems like fun or maybe even a potential side hustle.

Tbh we prob sound stupid but I just hate the way androids are. The camera is shit, the interface is too complicated and the phones are just so blehhhh. I’d rather keep a simple phone that’s efficient. Never had a problem when I had an iPhone but had many when I had a Samsung

I don't know. I've never liked iphones. I think they're overrated. I've always thought that people got 'em for the hype and because 'everyone' has one. But I don't judge the people who get them. They're just phones lol

it's a phone who cares. if they're able to make calls text and do their work and transfer files from their computer to phone who cares as long as it works for them and suits their needs
