What do you think of these iem’s?

I've listened to them and in my opinion they're one of the best sounding earbuds out there. They are comparable to the Westone W80s, however which one is best largely depends on you, your music and desired sound stage/profile. Currently, I'm using the Shure 425s after upgrading from the 215s and SE11s as my first experience from Shure. (I will NEVER go back to headphones that you can't replace the wire)

Eventually, I will likely upgrade to the 846s, however that may change based on what else is on the market. (I wasn't too impressed with the W80s when I tried them)

One of the best spots to experience/"test" these headphones out are actually in airport headphone stores. Most airport stores (like InMotion) will allow you to listen to nearly every headphone they have if you ask. They usually have models open behind the register and most even have the cores if needed.

I like technology, always ask questions when you buy new devices. I use a iPad and I have a flip phone G4. You don’t need the newest gadget device or as a phone. Slow down, does it still work. Save money, do u really need that device or do u need an expensive plan with a cellular company as smartphones usually charge after a purchase $80 to $120 per month. A multimedia phone as flip phone or a slider phone. Ask if places sell them inside the place as u browse to save money. Or look online for an unlocked phone to use it on any carrier. Even a prepaid or a smart-talk, freedom phone or straight-talk or virgin mobile or net-10 or 100 of other providers that have a cheaper cost to use what u need on technology. U matter. They are fantastic, but they have one issue that you have to be careful about - the hollow post that the silicone ear seals go on are easily broken if you aren't careful with them. That's probably true of most or all IEMs, but clear plastic is especially brittle.

Other than that, the clarity and frequency response is outstanding.

Shure rarely put their foot wrong in quality of their products. But it's usually price that lets them down. You'll usually find equal earphones going cheaper with other brands.

I don't know much about them, they might be decent though. I think IER- z1r might be better.

I got the moondrop starfields though. But the cable break, although I think they are replaceable.

I prefer Bose headphones. I've never been able to keep any manufacturer's earbuds in my ears... they keep falling out.

I have Shure earbuds and honestly I think I paid like $200.00 for them. I still have them even 2 years later. I have new foam inserts but the quality I enjoy the music. When I am alone to do my work in a loud area I throw them in and work away.
