Are these headphones good?

I have no idea, but I strongly suspect that those are $50 (retail) headphones with a $5 (retail) microphone and $100 cat ears. You are rarely if ever going to get a fashion piece from someone who actually cares about sound, and especially not in the "gaming accessories" retail space.
But that may still be okay, depending on what you plan to do with them and where you'll use them.
If sound quality is your priority, though, I'm sure you can do better for the price. The fewer cat ears and RGB lights, the more likely the company is focusing on sound quality, generally.
Do people not know what these headphones are? These headphones are Razer Kraken Kitty v2
-Gengar Edition headphones.
I was gonna buy beyerdynamics headphones but they never go on sale
No, no one knows what these are because they aren't relevant in the audio world, because they are designed to appeal to gamers (for whom audio quality is less important than style), not music listeners.
There's nothing wrong with that - people have different priorities, and so the market responds accordingly. But you need to be honest about what it is and what it isn't
Let me give you an example. I have a $700 pair of headphones and a $1000 set of in-ear monitors - both sound spectacular. But when I go to work, often in a house under construction, I use a $40 set of earbuds. The sound quality isn't nearly as good, of course, but that matters little when people around me are drilling holes, hammering studs, and grinding metal. When these ear buds take enough damage or get enough debris in them and stop working, it costs little to replace them. And they sound decent enough to listen to some music or take a phone call on the job. Different solutions for different applications. Nothing wrong with that.
In the audio world? They are gaming headphones!! Somebody should know what these are! This isn’t an audiophile forum or anything!
$700!!! $1000? Who tf can afford that? Are you Rich?
I Was gonna buy Beyerdynamic headphones but they never go on sale and my current headphones are falling apart, the leather is degrading.
I'm hardly rich, but audio has been a high priority for much of my life. But you missed the point - which is that different needs and priorities lead to different solutions. I wasn't suggesting that you spend $1000 or even $200. Rather, I was trying to get you to decide what single characteristic was your priority, because you can't have everything in one package, essentially for $160. Anything you buy is going to be a compromise, but you can decide, to some extent, which thing you want to compromise the least. That will get you the best value for your priorities and budget.
I need something durable and doesn’t break that easily. Something high end. Something not too expensive. etc
Something with good sound and performance too
You're wanting everything. You aren't going to get that. You aren't going to get close to that. Even if you spent $1000, you wouldn't get all of that, but you'd get closer.
Have you ever heard the statement "you can have it fast, cheap, or right, and you can pick no more than two." That's because you can't have it all. You have to know that what you are going to be getting a compromise. And the more you lean towards "fashion" (in this case, "gaming" features like cat ears and RGB lights), the less quality you're going to get in the sound quality of the mic and headphones and in build quality. That's just the reality of the retail world. Giving up the "fashion" features would probably get you better quality sound, but maybe those fashion features are important to you and you're willing to give up some sound quality to get them. That's okay. You are allowed to have preferences. I'm just trying to get you to understand that adding one thing takes away from somewhere else. That's just how the world works.
Good headphones never go on sale.
As i said I Was gonna buy Beyerdynamic headphones but they never go on sale and my current headphones are falling apart, the leather is degrading. I don’t really have an option
no they're most likely not. in my opinion, you should either buy a headset for 50 bucks or one for closer to 300. because in between there's not much measurable quality difference. at least that's my experience over the years.
i mean obviously the looks is what is important for you here. and if that's what makes you happy, go and get it, i guess. but don't expect outstanding audio quality.
$300 headphones are too expensive! WHO TF CAN AFFORD IT! I was gonna buy beyerdynamics but they never go on sale. These headphones are Razer Kraken Kitty v2- Gengar Edition headphones
if you want shockingly good sound quality for the price, i can highly suggest the Creative Sound Blaster Tactic3D Rage Wireless V2.0 they are a bit older but men those pack a punch. it's not a flashy brand name but creative has done sound for several decades and is one of the best in the business without demanding a premium for the brand name.
I don’t want wireless headphones cuz i need them to work on microphone and Audio interface
why would you use an audio interface at that price point? that makes no sense at all.
I have an audio interface. I need to use it. I spent $170 on it. And I need to use my headphones on my Mic. Also Wdym at that price point?
that's crazy. why would you spend so much money on an audio interface and then cheap out on the ting you're gonna plug into it? like you wanna buy a Headphone for 140 bucks right? imagine you could add the 170 you spent on the audio interface on your headphone money. you'd be able to afford some audiophile grade headphones that far exceeds whatever headphone around 100 bucks could provide with that audio interface.
As i said was gonna buy Beyerdynamic headphones for it but they never go on sale. And my current headphones are breaking the leather is degrading and falling apart. These looked cool and good enough. I didn’t know what else to do
Sell the audio interface and get a better headphone xD
I can’t sell it now! The refund policy has past! I can’t do anything about it now
And why wouldn’t i need an audio interface? I want to record music. My singing
Cause you evidently don't have the money that to spend that would make the use of an audio interface a sensible investment. Get a good USB mic and some good bluetooth studio headphones untill you're making the money to afford proper equipment.
I have a Shure Mv7+ and a focusrite 2i2 (4th generation) Anniversary Edition
Well then get something like the Shure SE215 Pro CL in ear monitors. The audio interface should have a headphone jack. If not, just use the computers audio jack. you just need I for replay anyway.
I don’t wear in ear monitors cuz i game with headphones. And i also want to record music. And by the way i searched them up, they look really cheaply made.
Dude you're trying to spend 100 bucks on PROFESSIONAL STUDIO EQUIPENT xD good luck finding that with the budget you have. by the way that's how in ear monitors look. You probably never saw some.
What budget? I am just trying to buy the best.
Yeah man but I'm not understanding what you're really trying to do here. Record music professionally or game. These are not the same thing and this gengar type headphones surely is not studio quality either. Like the particular niche you're looking for doesn't exist in the market.
BOTH! Record music and game!
Yes that's what I said. You're trying to have everything while not spending money. It doesn't work like that.
I don’t have the money to spend. As i said, good headphones don’t go on sale! What do you get otherwise?
Just get cheapo 50 bucks headphones and save up money to eventually get something good. That's what I'd do.
Why would i spend $50 on junk when i could something way better?
$50 headphones must be f**ing shit. I use hyperx cloud II, and the leather is degrading and falling off.
I don't recognize the logo on those and they don't match the Razer Kraken headphones, and those don't feature ANC, so for that amount I would buy the $229 Beats Studio Pro which often drop down to $169 and are only a slight step down in quality from the $550 Airpods Max, the best you can buy at the consumer level.
They’re Razer Kraken Kitty v2- Gengar Edition headphones
