What should I do if I have an amazing idea for a new social media platform?

I think this is a Mark Zuckerberg kind of idea and that it would get very popular. I have 0 knowledge in programming or business or anything, I work in a bar lol. But I want to make this app happen.

Tbh, getting an App idea to become a reality is really hard, often the costs outweigh what you get out of it.

however there are ways and means, the most important thing is making sure you protect your idea and turn it into intellectually property , basically get a patent for it,

without any knowledge on coding, etc, you need to concentrate on the business and monetary aspect of your idea.

have a look on Apple App Store, Google Play store, see if anything similar, Google the shit out of your idea,

Work out how much cash you are prepared to gamble to get your idea in front of an App Developer, in reality you have to be prepared to lose all the time, effort and money you put into it.

Well if you are prepared to spend the time and effort, prepared to lose the cash, then get everything about the app documented.

when you had the idea, what gave you the idea.
what use the app would be, what is it’s selling point.
document as much as possible about how it works.

put together a story board of the App being used.

Will the App be future proof, can it be upgraded or expanded.

is there any ability to get money from adding features, is there a pro version etc.

Thank you. The problem is that I don't have the money that I could risk losing :( But I have some Developer friends so might propose doing it for free and equally sharing whatever the result?

I have it all document, from why use this app to every feature explained, etc. I even have UI drawings.

Nowadays you can find many different videos or webinars for free, for example, on youtube, the main thing is desire )

I know there's app developers that would help run through it's strategy and design. But this may be costly.
