When I used the term "hackers", I was of course referring to those who engage in criminal activity, and not those who use the same, or similar, methods to stop them. I should have made that clear from the start.

See people. Those people who use free software (officially paid) on their Windows systems and free MOD app versions on their smartphones should definitely not complain about hackers and other such people. You are in the red too. Don't be a hypocrite, yourselves. I am talking about grey and white hat hackers.
In this world of capitalization, the services provided by these 'evil' hacker people are the ones utilized by nearly 98% of the students all over the world. The schools themselves sometimes are caught with using such software.
Piracy increased multiple fold in Pandemic time. Everyone was able to enjoy the premium shows for free. How. Skilled hackers who are able to break through the amazing walls built by similarly skilled programmers at Netflix, Prime or any other OTT platform.
There is a difference between scammers and hackers. A clear distinction. Scammers purely work for money while hackers mostly hack to test their skills, nothing else.
I am saying this as a student. I thank them for all the software they provide us on the to*rent. We are able to work because the software are really expensive even for renting. And that we cannot afford. I mean for one semester! Who would do that!
Also for the movies and the TV shows you guys make us available with.
I know, this is only the surface we are able to see, and there are a lot more things you guys uncover. But I along with many students, are thankful to you for what you provide us.
And people with whom scams have happened. Be more active on the internet guys. There are many good hackers exposing the gangs all over the world.
Jim Browning is one such YouTuber. KitBoga is another YouTuber. Be active people. Be vigilant, at least for your own self sake.
Then Karl Rock is also one. All these people are spreading awareness regarding the scams.
It sort of keeps me in a job lol.. Dimitri …
erm the big problems with hackers is the impact they have on peoples lives directly or indirectly.
This can be from stealing an individuals credentials, bank account etc to Ransomware or Social Engineering attack to steal company funds.
the ages of some successful hackers is scary as well, link to follow.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-60864283
that is 16 yr old and $14 million …
There are also a lot of gangs now doing this stuff as a service and it costs about $60 to buy a Ransomware attack.
There are good guys and those who you use when the good guys would be breaking the rules that keep them whiter than white.
it’s those that site in the dirty part of the system that often take the greatest risks to bring those bad people out into the open, they get stained a bit red lol.
Then of course you have ethical hackers who will do security testing, but hunts etc.
Yes there are a shit load of bad fuckers who pretty much fuck up society and ruin companies, however they are people who do try and stop them, prevention and also direct attacks against them.
There has been a lot of house cleaning lately with various groups disappearing and individuals.
Also Anon collective are doing some really good work at the moment..
Yes, I see what you mean when you say that "it keeps me in a job", but the very same thing could be said by a police officer with regard to crime; if we somehow managed to eliminate it, then he/she would be out of a job. If we eliminated sickness, all the doctors would suddenly be unemployed.
@snsl153 oh I agree, it would be good not to have them.
Unfortunately there are arseholes out there.
Same as there is illness and diseases
Them and scammers in general, esecially that they often target older people to steal their medicine money or their life savings. Absolute pieces of crap, I don't know how they sleep at night. Supposedly there are some types of hackers that don't commit crimes, obviously I'm not talking about those if they can even be called that... but just any type of scammer can go suck a dick.
I've had a lot of money stolen from me by these goons, but thankfully my bank account was insured. Hackers are nothing more than pimple-faced, scrawny little thug wannabes in their moms' basements.

I absolutely hate them I am one of the most mellowest people in this world but for the last past two days trying to get back onto my account in Gag as totally pissed me off to the point where I don't even want to come on here anymore somebody hacked my Facebook account so that means that I had to start all over f****** again on here because I can't sign into my original page Facebook is b******* and does not help one little bit I'm trying to get your page back they spin you in they spin you in circles and circles and circles until you cannot take it no more I'm so f****** fed up
And to be honest I guess what I'm really pissed off about is that I am not smart enough to figure it out LOL it is hard to do because I got a new phone at the same time I broke the screen on my tablet a coffee filter on it so that doesn't work then on my computer I get a message from Microsoft stating my computer has been hacked for me to call this number I called the number and I knew better they didn't answer one second later I get a phone call from Microsoft California and it's all b******* game and I didn't get my computer unplugged fast enough for them not to get into it and now I don't know what to do I dare not plug it back in and then I just had my phone stolen from me so I had to get a new phone I'm just pissed off at the world right now time to take a deep breath and figure it all out
Nah, you're watching too many movies.
As a former hacker and software cracker myself it's far from the pictures and news you're given. Just like all secret agents are not James Bond, and some are actually gang members and criminals as you imagine hackers to be - but they work for government sometimes instead.
Anyway, hackers are just people with a talent, that they put before clients for pay. If they are lucky they'll get good clients. If unlucky they'll get clients looking to do bad.
Hate the game, not the players, as they say. But I would suggest you pickup a book by Kevin Mitnick. He's been to the bottom and top of the hacking game, and written about it. The books are not too technical and a good read to boot.
Hey, uuuh related story. Had a dude who was able to hack the whole school if he wanted to... think he did once and he was expelled off of computers- not allowed to even touch them.
And then he got punched because someone had enough of his wise ass
They are no different to any other criminal for financial gain. Muggers, burglars, robbers, scammers they see a way to make money and do it regardless of consequences as they are thinking only of themselves and the money.
One issue is just how little most people understand about how new technology works, how unsecured it can be and these criminals exploit that.
I definitely don't appreciate the way they act (at least the way the ones I've met act), but they really haven't caused me very many problems in life.
I'm not a fan of the constant "I'm smarter than you" vibes.
Yeah. I think hackers and scammers are the two people I despise the most. It makes me sad that people feel they need to steal and deceive to be successful. The worst part is, they have no remorse. I don't know how anyone could sympathize with these scumbags.
Yeah bro. I once was in a deep state of depression and gave away 3k to a scammer. They always seem to go after the people who are weak and vulnerable and at their lowest points in life
@WhiteBoyChill Seriously. That's actually very true. Those people have zero empathy.
Yes, I teach computer science and I always tell my students that if they get caught doing stuff like that they will not get a lucrative security job like you see in the movies. More likely, most companies would not touch them with a ten foot pole. It shows a lack of judgment.
No. Some use it for good, others use it to punish people who escaped the law or help the law find them, like a vigilante. And then the best kind, hackers who work for society by protecting our systems and networks and making the security stronger using their expertise.
Thank You!!🙂🙂🙂👍👍👍
@The_Shadow_Dweller You're welcome!
Well just so you know as many black hat hackers are out there.. there's also a wide number of white hat hackers working diligently to keep things safe. That also includes cyber security experts who try their best to keep a wide number of people safe and protected on the internet.
That's why the surface level internet or "clear net" is so regulated by governments.
I wish hackers, thieves, vandals etc. did not exist in the first place but since they do, I’m glad we have cyber security and white hat hackers to counter their actions.
Well, that's a short-sighted question, considering that it's literally my job as a penetration tester. You should really learn the difference between white hat and black hat hackers.
hackers and scammer s they should have a secret squad that takes them out and dumped then in a big hole in the desert if they thought they could not get away with it they would not do it and they get a real job
I despise some hackers but I wouldn't say I despise all hackers and I wouldn't even say I despise all people who hack illegally
i am light hacker , i actually make some little extra money by hacking android games who have ingame paid system , like diablo immortal
android hacking is not hard at all , you can google it if you want to know more
I hate all evil people. There are good hackers out there though.
I fantasize about getting my hands on them and beating the... er, I mean convincing them to change professions.
No. There are white hat hackers who find a lot of the malware and mitigate it before it causes you a problem.
So whose the guys main account that your talking about as the "Hacker" ?
But there's good hackers and then there's evil hackers.
Yeah I hate the ones that steal your identity to use in getting money then messes up your life
How do you define hacking?
Bypassing passwords and other security checks, engaging in online criminal activity (like theft), disrupting networks, and online extortion to give just a few examples, and all the while not giving a rat's rear end about the very real consequences of such behaviour. They just do not care, and many of them just do it for the power trip. They're lower than cockroaches.
Lmao, whoa, did not expect a show. Go get 'im, Rachel.
lol I did not even do any serious hacking...
But apparently she really dislikes the admittedly vile act I did.
I am sorry, I will never do it again.
Dude, you fucked up. You don't cross boundaries like that. It's good you're owning up, but saying you're sorry doesn't mean shit.
Be better. And leave her the fuck alone. Move on, focus on being a better human. It isn't "apparently". She plain on does.
So stop pestering. You're acting like a 15 year old.
Not your business. She was my friend. :)
Totally my business, you came into my comment replies.
Sounds like you lost your friend, bucko. And she's made it clear she's done with you.
So pack it in.
she unblocked me like she said.
And besides, I don't intend to hack anyones' password again. Maybe I'll try using my skills for good.
That's a good alternative. White hat hacking might interest you. Or bounties.
@thethug1234 "lol I did not even do any serious hacking."
Oh, it wasn't "serious". So I guess that it's okay then. You see, you're not even taking this seriously, you STILL think it's a joke. I see no empathy for the victims here, because you just don't give a shit, because you plainly can't see the consequences (or maybe you just don't care about the consequences) of what you do.
@thethug321 @PrettyPriya - We have a multiple account holder here. He also goes by the name 'thethug1234'. He is now trying to follow and harass me.
Hackers do a LOT of good in the world! Who do you think keeps the bad hackers in check? The GOOD hackers!!
That's true. Cops are supposedly the "good" criminals that keep the evil ones off the street.
Good hackers are like the person who owns a gun and shoots a guy threatening to shoot up a school. Just because they have the ability to turn bad, doesn't mean they ARE bad! True hackers actually hate that negative reputation, because they want to better the world with their ability!
I agree
Of course they deserve to be punished by law.
I'm a hacker myself but not that sophisticated.
You are hacked everyday , just don;t know it.
