Is it wrong to pretend to be someone you're not online?

I honestly think it’s not wrong, if you’re not harming or tricking someone.
Internet is beautiful since it allows people to overcome their boundaries, so everyone can imagine to be the one he isn’t.. an immobilised person can imagine to run and to walk, an old man can imagine to be young, like playing a videogame.
But if this acting is used for evil purpose, like enticement, tricking, or morbid attention seeking, I think it’s wrong.
