Anyone know what Micro Sd Card would be good to get for, HD Action Camera?

I wanted a video camera and I got this HD Action Camera for Christmas--2018. In the box, didn't come with a Micro Sd Card. All these years... I been looking in every store for one, no store had one.

Now earlier tonight, I searched for one, online at walmart. There's so many though, I don't know which one would be better. Any help would be much appreciated.

Micro SD's come is various speeds and storage sizes.

You want something in the middle for speed and size before seeing which you need more.

Start with just a 16gb class 6 MicroSD for a couple of bucks. See how much it takes of your pics and their quality.

If it's filling up too fast then you need a larger storage, if the pics are not coming out well, then you need a faster class 10.

The speed is most important as well as the capacity, i guess you need 512gb or more as videos take on a lot of space. And i as the table shows you need a card with speeds corresponding to the U3/V30 class, this is printed directly onto the card.

But you also need to take a look at the manual from the camera, and see what the camera supports, usually they have an upper limit of GB they support.

In the manual, it says, to always use quality branded SD cards always use a quality (High speed class 10) Budget brand cards may not work.

If you buy online just look at the ratings, and buy one with 4 or more stars. And pay attention to the speed. And 512GB should be enough, maybe take a look at a 1TB but these are pretty expensive.

They are probably made in the same 3rd world slave shop so the brand really does not matter. I have a SanDisk one and it works good. Just make sure you buy it big enough for your needs.

Get the highest GB that camera will function with, if there's nothing in manual get a large GB micro Sd card that is made for action cameras etc..

Usually the biggest memory card I would get so you don’t have to worry about a long video
