Anyone else have trouble with their phone charger cords not staying in?

This is so annoying. Usually you can just buy a new cord and it will be okay, but why? Just make a cord to stays in? Then I went out and got one of those wireless phone chargers that gets used more as a drink coaster than a charger and when I do use it as a charger half the time it somehow gets slide off center on the charge and doesn't charge.

So here are a few things you might want to remember
The locking mechanism on the charger and the charge port can go bad
Lint can get stuck in the port of your phone and make chargers fall out Rather easily.
Even if the locking mechanism is still working on both the charger and the phone and there’s no lint inside The more you plug and unplug your phone you’re actually scraping off bits of metal from your charger port and from the charger itself basically making the charge port bigger and the charger itself smaller now you don’t really see it that well but if you pay attention you can actually see scratches where metal is been shaved off overtime and eventually that’ll basically mean that it’s just loose not because the locking mechanism itself is bad but because the charger is now just too small for the port
Last but not least brand matters sometimes you may get a brand that just does not like you’re charge port that well because not all chargers are created equal sure their mass produced and have a standard size But factory errors occur and each brand is going to operate a little bit differently and while the differences aren’t going to be clearly visible sometimes the effects of those differences are very easy to see

Periodically I find those phone charger cords get crimped or otherwise tarnished at their metal tips, so yah, you need to replace them. OR it might be your phone socket, those can get crimped and go bad too, which sadly means upgrading the phone and that can be costly. Or it can be a great excuse to get the latest 5G technological pocket computer phone gadget.

As for the wireless ones, I am with you - the cords charge faster and the electromagnetic round charger thingy often won't charge unless you put the phone on them *just right*.

I noticed my phone charges faster and stronger when I stick with the same brand as my phone.. apple.

These phone chargers are actually pretty complicated. Actually it's more the phone than anything. I work outside so trying to charge the phone when it's 100 outside takes a while to charge.

You can keep it in a waterproof bag inside a cooler with ice packs to keep the temperature down? My phone shows a temperature logo when it’s overheating and it won’t function until it’s cooled down.

Oh charging at night is a brilliant idea, but like I said it sometimes gets knocked off the charging coaster. lol

Honestly it's more the charging cord not staying connected that irritates me. If I forget to charge it okay just plug it in on the drive to work and it should be good enough, but it constantly comes out.

Seems more a problem with your eyesight and coordination than the phone, kiddo.

Maybe get yourself examined in case you're suffering dementia or Parkinson's? As that is some weird non-juju you've got going on there.
