When I plug my phone into charger, it turns on (doesn't turn on screen from sleep, but will turn on from powered off state)?

Kind of annoying as the phone seems to charge faster when powered off but I can't figure out how to disable this (I've searched online and they all talk about how to keep the screen off)... I manually power it off while charging but it turns back on (no I do not tap restart)

I have a nord 10 and it took me forever to figure out how to get the power button to actually power my phone in any way. If I hit it once, it pulled up google assistance, if I hit it twice, it pulled up camera, 3x pulled up voice recorder and long pressing it would pull up gallery. .. I literally could NOT turn off or even restart my phone -at all!
Anyway, play around in the settings. It might be under functions, or display or anything else. Click on them all. You'll find it. That's what I did. The factory people making the phone set it up to that the power button would do certain functions when you impressed it however many times but I was able to fix that so that now I can long press my power button and the option to shut down my phone comes up.
So just go into the settings for your phone and just click on everything all of the options until you find it there will be something in your settings so guaranteed that well allow you to change that so that your phone doesn't just turn on automatically when it's plugged in

Only have iPhone and just power off while charging so it doesn’t turn on
