LinkedIn is a good social media site to maintain professional contact with with your business colleagues, keep track of industry activities, and hunt for jobs.
Are you on LinkedIn? If so, what benefits do you get from it? If not, why not?

I have had one for over a decade and have a significant number of connections. I use it to stay connected with individuals, colleagues, industries, technologies, companies, etc.
It’s ultimately an online resume…. and an extension of my physical (paper/pdf) resume (that has a 3D barcode link to my profile). It gives more detailed info.
I have used it to ask technical questions, research and connect with past colleagues.
I have also sent and received communication from recruiters (head hunters) but have never obtained a job from someone who found me on it.
Yes, when I first started my job search my daughter who is a headhunter suggested that I have a Linkedin account. I had plenty of people that called me or sent me emails to interview for jobs but all the jobs were either too far away of thay sucked.
Ya follow for jobs and stuff mostly nothing else
Yes, but I have never used it for anything.

I am. Nothing much has come from it. At this point for me, it's just a more professional version of Facebook. I may just not be using it right though.
Yes. But I don't really use it. I paste the link to my profile when applying for jobs and that's it. I don't talk to anyone on it.
I really only use it when I'm looking for a job. It's full of toxic corporate bullshit which I can only handle so much of lol
Yes.
And it's a haven of "motivational speakers" who only see one side of the coin.
I don't need one... I am not a professional, lol
I have a LinkedIn profile but never use it.
Only to find jobs, nothing else
