Which is the problem my monitor or windows?

I have a weird problem in games the resolutions do not work well, my monitor is 1280x1024, the problem is that I resolve it 1360x768 and 1368x768 looks like 720p a little blurry, and the resolution 1440x900 looks like 1280x1024, someone You know why that is, the graphics card is not the problem since I changed it and it's still the same.

You have to play the games in the resolution your monitor is set to.

If your monitor is displaying 1048p your games should also be set to 1048p.

You can reduce the amount of pixels ingame, to increase framerate but at the cost of image quality.

You have a shit monitor or one that doesn't support the rates and resolutions you require to play the games in.

Try DisplayPort instead of HDMI if your monitor supports it. Else get a new monitor.

Sounds as though you expect a 1280x1024 monitor to be able to handle higher resolution graphics of the game, you need to get a new or refurbed monitor with a higher resolution to match the output of the game & graphics card

You should play in monitor's native resolution. Other settings give so much issues.
