Why do some people block you on social media after getting a SO?

They do not want to get in the middle of your Drama and want to make certain that you don't get involved in their drama. Perhaps, they don't want you in their Business any longer given your new status. Dynamics change when one goes Official Relationship.

Depends on what your relationship was like with them before they got an SO. If you slept together in the past or had some sort of feelings for each other, then it’s reasonable for them to cut you off now that they’re in a relationship.
