Should I disconnect my auto correct?

It seems like more and more my words are being changed too much and I don't catch it. So, auto correct changes the meaning of what I am trying to convey. It just changed a word in my last opinion. The word but was changed to it. I don't want to proofread each and every word I type. On the other hand, I'm not sure what will happen when I disconnect it. What good is it anyway?

I nearly always proofread! Sometimes I make typos or forget to say something or think of other things I should've said the first time, other times, this shitty keyboard (more often than not) makes LOADS of typos that I have to correct!! Just in those last 2 sentences, the keyboard made 12 mistakes!! And 3 in that one!
These are the kind oof mistakes it makkes EVERY good damn time I wwant to write something!!1

I agree, it can be pretty ducking stupid sometimes; I've never in my life typed 'oboe' and I couldn't pick one out of a lineup; but swype REALLY likes injecting that in place of "know".

What else does mine do..

'and' into 'abs'

'maybe' into 'Mayne'

I swear it's designed to be contrary on purpose.

Also, whenever I type the word girl it comes up gurl - then I have to manually correct it.

Maybe the WOKE people change it?

Auto (IN) correct is such a pain. It changes my words and many are consistent. Love for live and live for love, fir for, you yippy, fortunes sometimes, etc. Occasionally I will see a word change just as I press send. So much for proof reading!

I never use any auto correct. Neither do I use predictive text. They just are not good enough to know what I want to say.

I cannot type worth a damn so auto correct helps me. Sometimes it does change a word and when I change it back it changed it again.
