I was using 8GB SD card and I've now slotted in 62 GB card but my storage is still full
Why is my storage full even when I've deleted all my files?

Have you tried formatting the card? Sometimes, even though you delete stuff, the computer still thinks it's there so, if you're going to erase the entire card, might as well format it. I'm dealing with a slightly similar case: my main hard drive, according to the computer, only has about 2 GB of space left on it but, there's really more like 10 or 11! The computer uses some of the hard drive space for memory. If i were to shut down the computer and turn it back on, the drive would read that I have 10 or 11. The other day it said I had less than 1! All of a sudden, it started telling me I've got nearly 5!! I didn't close anything that I had open so, I have no idea why it went from 950-some MB to nearly 5 GB all by itself.
Whoa!
There are two immediate possibilities I can think of.
1. You didn't stop and eject the card so the computer still thinks the 8GB card is still there. ... or...
2. You need to empty the deleted folder/recycle bin for the files to truly be gone.
Alternatively, turn your computer off and then turn it back on. :)

Because your storage was on the device - not the card - to begin with. You need to switch storage to card to use that extra space.
