Should I be worried about my boyfriends recent activity on his phone?

My boyfriend of four years has had issues with his phone which is a Samsung. He used to have an iPhone, and when he had that iPhone he had a privacy screen protector he said it was to prevent his coworkers from peering over at his phone when he was on it he lets me look through his phone so he assured me that it wasn’t for me. He ended up getting a Samsung didn’t get a screen privacy protector But that one broke so he ended up using his old jobs iPhone that they gave him since then he’s put a screen privacy protector on it, and the pass code is different from his usual passcode does really alarm to be because now I felt I didn’t have access to his phone I asked to see his phone for a game and he gave it to me easily, and when I asked for his pass code, he’s sort of gave it to me. It was kind of confusing, but he showed me twice. I just don’t really remember it. I asked him if it was to keep me out the new pass code in privacy screen protector. He said no I showed you my pass code and you were allowed to see my phone. All these things are making me feel like he’s hiding something or planning to hide something he’s carrying around both phones because he’s still in the process of transferring all his information, including work information. I am a paranoid girlfriend for sure, and and lately he’s been mad at me for not trusting him, as I should am I being overboard?
