Unless you're literally a digital minimalist, and you consciously spend effort not using digital technology (and not just avoiding a facebook account) then it's whatever.

But if you're pretending you're something so you don't feel like you're not legit, then that's the real problem. You *are* allowed to just simply not have social media, you don't need to justify it with BS labels.

I am in charge of an IT department and many IT assets besides. Yet class as a digital minimalist as I only have two phones, 1 laptop and 1 PC. My second has 3 phones, 4 laptops, 2 tablets, a Surface, and all sorts of SMART devices.

Yeah the label is the problem, not the action. Everyone always puts so much effort into legitimizing their feelings. Just do you. I haven't had facebook for over a decade. It hasn't affected my life at all.
