Nope. My husband's old car had an am/fm radio antenna and the kids would complain about the embarrassment of having an antenna. I like to tell them stories of antenna ball collections.
I'm guessing the last pic (RV) was yours?
Nope the 1984 Buick. The 4 door sedan
Most of them antennas were dummies. That was back in the late 1990s I did that.
Yikes! 😂😂😂
Who knows maybe I was trying for the Guinness World Records for most antennas on a car
As a matter a fact, I think that's my uncle in the background of the photo.
Thanks for the MHO ❤
Only our motorhome has some kind of dish/dome thing on the roof for television reception.
Not anymore, except for a hidden radio antenna and I bet you are the one with the camper with the antenna
Nope mine was the 1984 Buick, my camper I use a drive up mast mount a 25 foot poat and a wire end fed and ran the other end to something else

If I had any antennas like that on my car, I wouldn’t be able to use the parkway because it will hit the bridges
If I remember right I was at a CB radio key down contest and I wanted to be seen and remembered
It started out as a joke and then another and another.
One of my buddies even put some old car show Trophies on the hood for fun.
By the end, everyone thought it was a real contest
Sounds like it ended up being really fun
Yes.
Does it look like any in the photo samples I provided
No. Much smaller. Vhf/uhf antenna and cb antennas
My all time favorite antenna is the stainless steel 102" whip.
Its tough, and I could run it on multiple bands with an antenna Turner
And it was cheap
Makes sense to me.

I don't have to worry my big shed is 145 feet long by 40 feet wide
It came with the farm

It was

Well I can fix that hehehe
Or should I say in ham radio talk for lol its Hi Hi
Thought about roof mounting my antenna’s a long time ago however I’m so glad I didn’t because my roof rack has come in handy so many times & I don’t have enough clearance in my garage. My next project I have to install a filter because every time I go by LED traffic lights, LED Street Lights, or digital billboards it interferes with my radio.
There is GPS antenna and back window heater wires work as radio antennas. When I turn back window heater on weak FM stations disappear
Nope, not since 1998, when my '85 GMC 2500 HD High Sierra was stolen.
Not like any of those lol. I'm a little jealous!
Who the f*** are they trying to contact?
